How to get a ‘wildflower boutique’ in the city
A new breed of boutique shop opens its doors in the heart of Sydney’s CBD on Thursday night.
Wildflower boutique has already opened in Kensington Market, but this is the first location in the CBD to be open to the public.
Owner, Sophie Smith, said the boutique had been a long-term dream and was about bringing a unique, modern take on traditional Western decor to Sydney.
“We wanted to build something different from the typical Western boutique,” Ms Smith said.
“I wanted to create something that would give our guests a more unique experience.”
This is our third location, so we’ve done quite a bit of research and we’ve found that the city has a great number of unique boutique shops and I think this will be the perfect place for us.
“Ms Smith said the cafe was one of the first of its kind in Australia, and was an extension of her passion for outdoor living.”
It’s not just a place for a day in the park, it’s for outdoor activities, a different lifestyle, and a whole range of different things,” Ms Brown said.
Ms Smith has already had an extensive run of success in her fledgling business, which has sold out every week.”
The last couple of weeks have been crazy because the demand has been phenomenal,” Ms Bailey said.
The boutique opened at 7.30pm on Thursday, and Ms Bailey was delighted to have such a popular opening.”
There are lots of people that are coming from all over Australia, the whole world,” Ms Baugh said.
