Ivanka Trump’s boutique is now in foreclosure
A boutique in Manhattan that Ivanka Trump once owned is now being sold for $5.3 million.
Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, who owns the Trump Organization, are on the hook for $1.5 million of the sale.
The sale, announced on Friday, is expected to close by the end of March.
“We were told that the Trump family is interested in purchasing the property for $4 million to $5 million, but we are in the process of finalizing the sale,” a spokesperson for Ivanka Trump told Bloomberg Businessweek.
In addition to the sale, the couple has already acquired the former Lush Beauty store on East 46th Street in Manhattan, which opened in 2007.
Lush, which has been open since 2008, is known for its low prices, high quality cosmetics, and customer service.
As we reported earlier this year, the Trump’s are reportedly interested in building a luxury hotel in the neighborhood.
